What this study is about
This study tests a computer “doctor” called CognoSpeak that asks health questions.
It checks if speech can show memory problems or movement problems like Parkinson’s or after a stroke.
What will happen
People talk to the computer and answer questions to a human looking image on a computer screen that will ask you questions regarding your health. The computer records the speech but does not reply. Researchers compare answers from patients and healthy volunteers and watch for changes over time. CognoSpeak may be used so no-one misses out on an early assessment and has access to support or treatment.
Who sponsors it
Sheffield Teaching Hospital.
Recruitment end date: 30 June 2026.
